Safe, social dog care with Danni
our story

From one local dog to a whole happy pack

I started Barking Mad Fun in April 2023 after looking after a friend of a friend’s dog and realising just how much I loved it. What began as one sit soon turned into something much bigger, built through local recommendations, trust and plenty of happy dogs.

After being made redundant, I decided to give Barking Mad Fun a proper go. I had flyers printed, started spreading the word and slowly built the business through owners who trusted me with their dogs and recommended me to others.

Every dog deserves to feel safe, understood and excited for their next walk.

Today, I offer pack walks and dog sitting across WA4, South Warrington, with a careful approach that puts every dog’s safety and personality first. Before any dog joins the pack, I take time to understand them properly, the good, the bad and the ugly, so I can make sure they’re placed with the right group.

FAQ's

Got a question about walks or sits?

Whether you’re looking for regular pack walks or someone caring to sit with your dog, Danni takes time to understand what they need before any booking is confirmed.
What happens after I get in touch?

After a WhatsApp chat, Danni will arrange an in-person visit to meet you and your dog. She’ll ask about their routine, personality, behaviour and anything important to know, the good, the bad and the ugly.

Why does Danni assess every dog first?

Honesty helps Danni keep every dog safe and happy. It means she can decide which pack your dog will fit into best and how to care for them whilst you're away.

Can my dog try a pack walk first?

Yes. After the initial visit, Danni invites your dog to join a pack session for free so she can see how they settle, interact and enjoy the walk.

Where do the pack walks take place?

Pack walks take place in enclosed fields in Lymm or at Arley, giving the dogs space to run, play and enjoy themselves safely.

Do you offer dog sitting?

Yes. Danni also offers dog sitting for dogs who need care while you’re out, at work or away. She’ll chat through your dog’s routine and what they need so they feel settled and looked after.

Alongside dog sitting, Danni can also care for cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small pets, keeping them comfortable in their own routine while you’re away.
